Onboarding
Step 1 — Setting up your brand
Before you generate your first ad, you need to set up three things: your Brand, your Target Audience, and your Product. Think of these as the foundation. The better this information is, the better every ad you generate will be.
What is the brand identity and why does it matter?
Your brand identity is the foundation of every ad Thumbstop generates. It tells the AI what your brand looks and feels like — your colors, your logo, your fonts, your brand values, and your overall aesthetic. If your generated ads have colors or a style that feel off-brand, this is almost always because the brand identity settings need to be updated.
How do I add my brand?
You have two options. The easiest is to enter your website URL and let the AI automatically detect your brand colors, logo, fonts and description. Alternatively, you can enter everything manually. We recommend using the automatic import as a starting point, then editing the results to make sure they are 100% accurate.
What should I double-check in my brand settings?
- Color palette — make sure the colors match your actual brand colors
- Logo — confirm the correct logo is being used
- Brand values — describe the personality and tone of your brand (e.g. bold, premium, playful, clinical)
- Aesthetics — describe the visual style you want in your ads
Can I have multiple brands?
Yes, but the number of brands depends on your subscription. The Starter plan includes one brand; the Growth plan raises that to three, and the Pro and Agency plans support many more. If you are an agency or manage multiple brands, pick a plan that matches how many you need.
