Your First Campaign
Step-by-step: launching a campaign
Once your brand, audience, and product are set up, you are ready to generate your first ad. Here is a walkthrough of the campaign creation flow in the Create section.
Pick the kind of creative you are making — for example a Meta ad — and whether you want a static image or a video. The rest of the flow adapts to this choice.
Select the brand, product, and target audience for this campaign. The audience is optional, but highly recommended: it gives the AI a clear direction on which pain points and benefits to emphasise, and how to visually position the ad. If you manage multiple brands or products, double-check you have the right combination before continuing.
The ad concept is the core creative framework for your ad. It determines what the ad is trying to communicate and how it structures the message — think after-state transformations, before-and-after comparisons, educational angles, or social-proof-led layouts. Each concept comes with example images so you can see what it produces. Spend time experimenting — over time you will discover which concepts perform best for your specific brand and audience.
Inside the concept you choose which of your product assets to feature. Each image slot takes up to three images. As a general rule, less is more — a clear focal point beats a collage. A common combination is a product image paired with a founder image, or a product image paired with a before-and-after.
You can also write your own headline, sub-headline, and call-to-action, or let the AI propose messaging for you. The AI matches the typography to the fonts in your brand identity.
Styles work like filters. They add a visual treatment on top of your chosen concept — think of it as adjusting the mood or aesthetic layer of your ad. This is entirely optional, but it is a great way to get more variation from the same concept. Try the same concept with and without a style to see which performs better.
The custom instruction box lets you give the AI a specific direction before it generates. You can use it to:
- Focus on a specific pain point
- Highlight a specific benefit or feature
- Target a specific use case or demographic segment
- Request a specific visual element or style choice
Think of this as a brief to the AI. You do not need to use it, but when you do, it gives you significantly more control over the output.
Finally, pick your aspect ratio — square (1:1) and portrait (4:5) for feed placements, or story (9:16) for Stories — and how many variations to generate (up to four). Each variation is charged its own credits, so more variations means more creative to test but a higher credit spend. Then hit Generate.
